It was in the 90’s, though, that MTV became a juggernaut and expanded well beyond the music realm. CRT MTV presents the core years of MTV from 1993-2002 with all of the amazing music programs that emerged in the 80’s, the expansion to animation, reality TV, and countless specials in the 90’s, and then the transition to the TRL and heavy reality focus that was the 2000’s.
